IN MEMORIAM
April 10, 1999 to July 6, 2009
Our beloved Lincoln died in
his sleep on July 6, 2009. He was the sweetest-natured German Shepherd we have ever owned. He was always
even-tempered and loving with everyone including visitors, cats, every other dog and the tiniest puppy. He
was an explorer who loved to patrol around our 20 acres. We thought we had lost him a few years back when he was injured
in a fence line but he came back from that injury and thrived. We will remember and miss him.
We named "Lincoln"
- "Lincoln Willi Krueger Kahn" after "Willi" our first German Shepherd raised from a puppy -
way back in 1978 and "Lincoln" reminded us of "Willi" since they were both "Gentle Giants".
The only "bad" thing about German Shepherds is that (because they are large dogs) their lives seem so brief
and the years from puppyhood to old age just seem to fly by.

ABOUT DAD – Lincoln Willi Krueger Kahn (Lincoln)
Lincoln is a very masculine and exceptionally large-framed Black and Tan/Red German Shepherd Male of
around 100 pounds. He is over 5 years old now and showing no signs of slowing
down at all. His greatest joys are racing around the perimeter of our 20 acres
on patrol. He has a very calm and stable temperament and enjoys attention and
pets from visitors of every age. We bought him as a puppy from a breeder
that we trust and where we were able to observe both his parents and grandparents. He
comes from primarily American German Shepherd bloodlines with no evidence of genetic predisposition to any health problems. He has sired several litters of puppies for us and everyone has loved the way their
pups turned out. We think he helps bring size and sound temperament to our puppies.

Sorry,
I can’t immediately find the larger pedigree. We chose Lincoln as
a puppy after spending time with both his parents and grandparents. We were impressed
by all of them and Lincoln has been a great Sire to several fine litters. He
has great intelligence, fantastic calm temperament and large masculine appearance, in our opinion.
